Off-shore operations require special considerations when evaluating pipe handling solutions. Space constraints, pipe deck to drill floor height difference, crane capacities limits, and even international shipping require a thoughtful approach to ensure seamless integration into the rig and operations.
Headwaters unique solution allows delivery of up to 5 joints to be delivered to the rig floor at a time (with another 5 joints ready and waiting in the magazine) allowing men to load up the catwalk machine and then focus on other operations while the rig catches up.
